Upon arriving at Bellevue Vendégház 2 in the historic heart of Vác, I was greeted with warm hospitality that set the tone for an enjoyable stay. As a historian, I couldn't help but admire the location-just steps away from the Baroque Main Square and its vibrant colourful palaces, with delightful spots like the music pavilion that serenades you with 300 melodies. Cycling along the renowned EuroVelo 6 Danube was a highlight, and the managers graciously allowed me to store my bike securely overnight, a thoughtful touch for any cycling enthusiast. My fellow travelers and I thoroughly enjoyed unwinding in our air-conditioned twin room after a day of exploring, and each comfort we experienced was a reminder of the rich history surrounding us, making our journey through Central Europe's past feel tangible and present.
